CONCEPT:
Interior design project for a residential apartment in Paris, inspired by the atmosphere and deep tones of the Parisian night sky. Located on the uppermost level of the building, the apartment’s greatest architectural feature is its panoramic view of the beautiful skies above Paris. The design concept therefore centered around translating the emotional quality of the city’s nighttime atmosphere into the interior palette and spatial experience. Carefully selected colors and materials were used to evoke the sensation of resting beneath the Paris night sky, creating a calm, immersive, and intimate living environment. The project also focused on optimizing the challenging sloped ceiling conditions of the traditional Haussmann-style attic space, maximizing functionality and usability while preserving the architectural character of the original structure.
