CONCEPT:
The design of this office floor draws inspiration from natural forms and the movement of underwater waves surrounding offshore oil drilling sites, creating a calming and immersive atmosphere intended to enhance the meeting experience. The project also integrates the organization’s corporate color palette as a key component of the overall design identity. Blue aluminum composite panels with iridescent surface qualities were selected as the primary material, allowing the color to shift subtly depending on the viewing angle and lighting conditions. This creates depth and dynamic visual movement throughout the space, symbolically representing the flow of water, ocean waves, and the sea — metaphors for smooth communication, fluid collaboration, and seamless business discussions.
