CONCEPT:
This residential housing development was designed with an integrated off-grid system strategy aimed at reducing dependence on external energy consumption and promoting long-term environmental sustainability. The architectural design incorporates partially underground living spaces with carefully planned natural ventilation and daylight access, creating comfortable environments suitable for daily activities while reducing heat gain. Vertical landscape integration connects the underground level to the upper floors through large planted trees that grow continuously through the structure, reinforcing the relationship between architecture and nature. By embedding portions of the program below ground level, the project also reduces the overall visible building height, preserving open sightlines and maximizing views toward the sea. Each residence within the development is organized with 1.5-meter-wide green landscape buffers positioned between property boundary walls. These planted zones increase the overall greenery throughout the project while simultaneously enhancing privacy between neighboring homes, particularly in areas where swimming pools may generate noise and activity.
