CONCEPT:

Renovation and restoration of the original café area within the billiard hall of Phyathai Palace through the introduction of Empire Style furniture from the Napoleon III period. Antique second-hand furniture pieces were sourced directly from France to align authentically with the original historical period and interior character of Phyathai Palace. The project also addressed the building’s humidity control system in order to protect the existing fresco artworks from long-term deterioration. The interior layout was redesigned with strong left-right symmetry, following the principles of Classical Design to preserve the formal elegance and historical atmosphere of the space.
