CONCEPT:

The project involved the renovation of a traditional Thai-inspired compound into a luxury resort destination, reinterpreting vernacular architecture through a contemporary hospitality experience. The design brings together master-level Thai craftsmanship through both interior and product design elements, including traditional beetle-wing embroidery, repoussé metalwork, and intricate Chinese-Thai woodworking techniques, carefully integrated with modern materials and contemporary detailing. Special attention was given to the design of the lighting and cooling systems to ensure they harmonize seamlessly with the architectural character of the original structures. The result is a refined environment that preserves cultural authenticity while elevating comfort, functionality, and the overall luxury resort experience.
